Temple's Renee Hobbs developing handbook on copyright fair use
Media-literacy researchers and practioners need to follow the lead of filmmakers and establish a handbook for "fair use" of copyrighted materials, says Temple University researcher Renee Hobbs. Taking a cue from colleagues at American University, Hobbs has started the process. She spoke about it on Friday, March 30, at the Northeast Media Literacy Conference at the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Conn. Here are Bill Densmore's notes of her talk.
